Catherine Wheaton Named TLAP Outreach Services Director

Catherine Wheaton has been named director of outreach services for the Tennessee Lawyers Assistance Program (TLAP). Wheaton is a former Knox County public defender and served as a law clerk for Court of Criminal Appeals Judge Robert Wedemeyer. Wheaton's newly-created TLAP position involves outreach to law schools, criminal defense attorneys, public defenders and district attorneys. The new outreach effort is funded in part by a BYRNE/JAG grant from the Office of Criminal Justice Programs. Wheaton is an honors graduate of Case Western Reserve Law School.
